When you think about public libraries, you probably immediately imagine rows of books and more rows of books. But libraries have grown and adapted with the internet age and now offer the public even more including a slew of events. The Salt Lake County Library system needed help reorganizing and reorienting their most forward facing asset, their website, to help the public understand and find these important pieces. Starting at its core website architecture we worked with the library team to reorganize and reinvent the library website to focus less on books and more on events and happenings that each of the 19 branch locations offer after extensive user testing. Using their brand and style guide we then designed the new county library website and worked with their in-house IT team to build the website.
