Explore Tooele County

Any agency can drive tourists to Las Vegas or Paris. But what about a small, relatively unknown county without a tourism presence that’s right next door to Salt Lake County? Like any organization, you lean into its advantages and strengths. In Tooele County’s case; its lack of tourism presence. In an attempt to pull people along the Wasatch Front away from outdoor recreation areas that have become overcrowded (because after all who wants to go to the outdoors to be around hoards of people) we leaned into sarcastic and blunt messaging based around the idea of Tooele County being a place that no one goes to. We utilized a wide array of digital and marketing tactics including social to get the county’s tourism message in front of its targets. The Bonneville Salt Flats are in Tooele County. The Great Salt Lake is in Tooele County. No one else is, so why aren’t you?
