Lacking a major downtown performing arts center capable of handling large touring theater productions, Salt Lake City & Salt Lake County needed to build a theater, and its brand, from the ground up. Starting first with a public engagement processes to help gauge what the community wanted to see in its new crown jewel theater, we aided the design of a theater that would stand the test of time. Utilizing the idea of three extraordinary elements; extraordinary arts and entertainment, extraordinary community connections, and extraordinary architecture, the visual brand paid homage to both the sponsor namesake and the building’s unique star lights. We finally helped with opening season ticket sales and box sponsor programs through a variety of marketing and advertising initiatives.
